PUPPY PICK DAY
EXPLAINED
How Puppy Pick Day Works
What is Puppy Pick Day?
Puppy Pick Day is scheduled when puppies are 6-7 weeks old. By this age, their personalities start to shine, and its the perfect time for families to meet them and find the best fit. This is a special and exciting experience! It's the day when families finally get to meet the puppies in person and choose their new best friend.
Selection Order - How it Works
Puppies are selected in the order deposits are received. First deposit gets first pick. Second deposit gets second pick etc. I go down my list of deposits received and each buyer has the opportunity to choose their puppy out of what is available and what their application form requested ( gender/color).
For example:
- If you placed the first deposit on a female, you'll get first choice among the girls
- If you're second in line for a male, you'll pick after the first male deposit holder chooses a puppy, and so on.
We maintain two separate lists - one for males and one for females- to make the process fair and organized. We'll always confirm your pick number ahead of time so you know exactly where you fall in line.
Important Deposit Information
Remember that deposits are to secure or "reserve" your puppy for puppy pick day and is the only way to guarantee your place in line.
Why a deposit is required? We receive many inquiries, and our litters often fill quickly. A deposit is to ensure fairness and keep everything organized. Once your deposit is received, you'll receive a receipt and confirmation about your position in the list.
We update our chart 'Puppy Pick Order List' daily on our website once deposits are received. This lets families see where they stand in selection order - and offers real time awareness of available spots.
Deposits are applied to your final balance due at puppy homecoming day!
***Please note submitting an application alone does not secure a spot on our waitlist. The same applies to casual inquiries, social media messages, or verbal confirmations ***
